We are looking for an aggressive, top-flight Sales Manager to manage a team of 6 to 8 sales representatives across the eastern US. Your team is responsible for sales of our Private Label Business Card to commercial fleets within the region. They work directly with petroleum marketers and retailers to promote sales of our fleet card product to businesses of all sizes.
POSITION DESCRIPTION:
• Day-to-day execution of a proven sales model
• Deliver results exceeding team sales quota
• Work side-by-side with team members in the field on a weekly basis
• Work with Private Label marketers and retailers to assist them in building their commercial card business
• Attend Private Label business meetings to promote the program
REQUIREMENTS:
• 5+ years of successfully managing sales teams in a B2B environment
• Demonstrable previous successes with regional sales teams in high activity, short sales cycle environment
• Strong sense of urgency and a roll-up-the-sleeves demeanor
• Flexible, adaptable, team oriented with positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Ability to communicate effectively, oral and written
• Advanced skills using Microsoft Excel®, Word and PowerPoint®
• Experience in the petroleum industry or a related industry that uses wholesalers or marketers to sell their product is helpful
• Frequent travel (50%)
COMPENSATION:
Competitive base salary plus significant commission and bonus opportunity
