...but why, you ask ? I'm a filmmaker with over fifteen years of experience, six as a sound editor, seven as a Hollywood writer, and recipient of a MFA degree in Film & Television from one of the best film schools in the world. I'm also currently working on my Master Certification for Apple's Final Cut Studio, and I'm looking to build up my reel and use YOUR footage to practice on.

So what's this got to do with you ? Well, freelance editors normally charge anywhere from $75/hr to thousands of dollars a week. I'm willing to do your project for much, much cheaper. Hell, if I really like it, or it particularly suits the needs of my reel, I'll do it for free. Final Cut Studio is an AMAZING piece of software, but it's pretty damn complex. This is one of those opportunities for you to cheerfully exploit the labor of others. Good for you.

Okay, so the price is right. Why do you want to trust your hard-shot footage to me ? Simple. I'm more of a "classically-trained" editor. Anyone can press buttons and assemble footage. I understand the complex nuances of emotion, action, movement. I'm a writer, an artist, a storyteller. The software is great, but it's just a tool. Whether or not you have a short video, commercial work, or something a little more "out there" -- I can take it to the next level.
