Start-up tutoring service is looking for chemistry and physics tutors to work with students on a regular basis. Primary duties include working with students concurrently through web conferencing and teleconference. Face-to-face tutoring is also offered.
Requirements:
Education:
Must have at least a college degree in science. B.S. in Chemistry or Physics preferred. M.S., M.Ed. or Ph.D. ideal.
Teaching Experience:
Must have taught or tutored chemistry or physics with success in the past. Previous experience teaching at the high school or college level is preferred. Experience teaching both inorganic and organic chemistry is preferred, but candidates with solid expertise in only one area will also be considered. Must have a genuine desire to help people succeed and be patient, courteous, and composed in demeanor.
