there is something wrong here. first of all
I believe the arguement was could it be done, obviously it can. but I suspect it wasnt a gram . It could be like the freebies the radio station used to give away. which were 1/10 gram. a tiny little thin 1/4" X 3/16" bar.I have a few of those and they are only worth 2-3 bucks but that doesnt matter either. the argument was could it be done. , it can and is every day. the other argument that gold is worthless does not hold water when you factor in the fact that the US government does not want you owning it and they are working on another FDR style ban.
Barter has been the way of commerce since the beginning of time. women trade pussy for everything, people trade food, goods and services. which we are going back to as the dollar devalues.
To say that the dollar is the only form of currency is just plain naive.
