Environment Furniture, an environmentally and socially responsible contemporary furniture company, is seeking a FULL-TIME enthusiastic, professional and motivated associate for their beautiful new retail showroom, located next door to Atlanta’s Westside Urban Market, in Atlanta’s newest west side shopping district, White Provisions.
Professional Retail experience is required- (preferably in home furnishings, but not required). Interest in sustainability and interior design a major plus. Competitive hourly + commission compensation structure provides excellent earning potential for the focused and outgoing individual. Flexibility to work days, early evenings, weekends and scheduled showroom events is required.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Each associate is responsible for:
• Achieving personal sales goals by selling the furniture and accessories offered by Environment Furniture.
• Ensuring that customers/designers have a positive experience in the store, answering questions, and following-up when necessary.
• Accurately writing up orders, managing payments, maintaining accurate customer records, tracking orders and scheduling deliveries.
• Maximizing store promotions and marketing initiatives.
• Assisting in maintaining store cleanliness and set-up and location of furniture and accessories.
QUALIFICATONS:
• High level of motivation to achieve results.
• Able to greet customers, establish rapport, develop long-term business relationships.
• Able to close the sale, and ensure scheduled delivery and customer satisfaction.
• Able to accurately complete related paperwork, including order entry, delivery schedules, customer records, collect and deposit fees.
• Knowledge of retail industry, POS system, cash register, and related business equipment a plus.
