We have an opening for a Software Engineer in our Conyers, GA office!

This Software Engineer will use a unique combination of skill developing enhancements to existing software and maintaining legacy systems.  In addition, this person will perform product design, bug verification, release testing, and beta support on applications software projects which may require research and analysis. May assist in performing on-site client work. Operates under moderate supervision.

Requirements

• Performs design, implementation and maintenance of single product modules/sub-systems or on lower level issues of multiple products.  Participate on development of enhancements of existing software.
• Prepares technical documentation.
• Conducts unit testing and integration testing for functionality.
• Develops solutions to problems.
• Researches and understands the marketing requirements for a product, including target environment, performance criteria and competitive issues.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years minimum experience in product design or product support
• Strong experience with C#, .NET, SQL, XML, Windows Forms, OOP/OOD, and UML.
• Ideal applicant will have knowledge of legacy systems, specifically Delphi, or be willing to learn.   
• Knowledge of software development methodologies, design and implementation. General understanding of entire development process, including specification, documentation and quality assurance.
• Skills in research, project planning and implementation.
• General awareness of business issues as they impact overall project plans.
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.

Education Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business, software engineering or computer science
