An emerging new media company is currently seeking an Operations Manager to join its expanding team. This individual will work in our office in Sandy Springs, GA and be responsible for supporting the daily operations and strategy ‘follow-through’ of the company. Our company’s websites reach over 2.5 million unique visitors and generate over 45 million pageviews per month. Our properties have been mentioned in media outlets such as Time, Newsweek, GQ, USA Today, and the LA Times. Our growing company seeks a reliable, mature, and tech savvy college graduate who has management ambition. The successful candidate will have a keen attention to detail and be hyper-organized.
Logistically, the individual will act as a liaison between wordpress developers and an editorial/content team of 15+. In addition, the job requires the unique flexibility and talent to weave between online video, traffic marketing, online advertising, human resources, and basic administrative support functions. You will report directly to the CEO and be on a management/executive track on day 1.

REQUIREMENTS/Notes on Opportunity
1. Strong Leadership Skills
2. Advanced computer & technology proficiency (Windows, Excel, internet, web hosting, and networking)
3. College degree with a GPA greater than 3.3 (Will be verified)
4. Excellent communication skills, energy, entrepreneurial spirit, and positive attitude are a must
5. An ability to negotiate both pricing and processing details with advertising partners, vendors, and other service professionals
6. Comfort interacting with people of other cultures
7. Previous operations or management-related experience with strong track record Highly Recommended
8. Must be extremely responsible and proactively seek solutions to business challenges
9. Experience with Wordpress development processes a big plus.
10. Some knowledge of online advertising terms and general landscape
11. Ability to work extended hours as needed.
12. Hours are approximately 9 am- 6 pm.
13. SEO/Traffic Marketing Knowledge and Experience a Plus
