We are looking for a Principal Engineer to help take our product to the next level. Damballa provides large
enterprises with unique solutions to defend against the modern Internet threat environment, including botnets
and other targeted attacks.
Security experience isn't required, but you should have an interest in the security space.
Requirements:
* 10+ years of experience, but maybe you're an up and coming rock star that we'll make an exception for
* Expertise with at least one dynamic language
* Comfort with relational databases / SQL and scaling them to handle large amounts of data
* Passion about testing, quality, and learning new technologies
* Demonstrated ability to provide technical leadership
* Effective communication skills with the spoken and written word
Bonus points:
* Experience developing for an appliance
* Experience in the security industry
We use Agile development methodologies including SCRUM, pair programming, and lots of focus on testing.
