IT Manager Opportunity
A-AAccess Online Payment Systems is currently seeking a mature, highly motivated IT Manager to perform comprehensive technical and management duties, including the management and hosting of a state-of-the-art web application (.net/SQL), the continued development of an in-house management system (php/mysql), and the management of a small but powerful network.
This dynamic, hands-on position will offer the right candidate diverse and exciting technical challenges. Priority will be given to candidates with experience hosting EFT applications and/or supporting POS systems.
Position Responsibilities:
• Supervise web application written in .Net utilizing an SQL Database
• Develop and implement software (Pegasus, EFT Gateway and POS)
• Perform regular network maintenance, including security updates and back-ups
• Maintain workstations with security and operating system updates
• Provide daily support of merchants
• Manage and supervise PHP coders (the ability to write PHP code is preferred)
• Serve as Sales Support Engineer, providing point-of-sale channel support
• Develop Crystal Reports
• Other duties as requested
Requirements:
• 10 years experience in managing IT teams and mission-critical applications
• 2+ years experience with hosted applications
• Proven experience with web applications requiring multiple servers and clusters with corresponding security measures
• Solid understanding of database administration and expertise with database tools, including Crystal Reporting, SQL Server, and mySQL
• Proven expertise with the following software: Back-up Exec (back-up software); Symantec (anti-virus); Ghost (software imaging and delivery); pc Anywhere and GotoMeeting (remote control)
• Training and certification in MCSE, MCSA, CNA, Citrix, CCA, and A+
• Strong organizational skills and ability to work in a time-critical environment
• Demonstrated problem-solving and collaborative skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree; graduate degree preferred. (Hands-on experience may substitute for some education.)
