Oracle Senior SOA Developer Summary:
The Oracle Senior SOA (Service-Oriented Architecture) Developer is responsible for developing, implementing, and supporting technical solutions for the Oracle E-Business Financials EBS R12 application providing support to the accounting and finance, supply chain, manufacturing, and planning areas.
The role requires the ability to work jointly with the development and infrastructure operations team as well as with the outside systems integrators. The role is responsible for the delivered integrations between product suites, developing custom integrations to legacy systems, and business-to-business transactions.
REQUIREMENTS
The role of the Oracle SOA Developer includes the following requirements:
ORACLE FUSION MIDDLEWARE AND SOA
Hands on experience with the core Oracle SOA Suite components- BPEL, ESB(OSB), OWSM, BAM, Web service development, JDeveloper, JMS queues.
Hands on experience with Oracle B2B, EDI and XML gateway.
Expertise in XML, XSD, XPath, XSLT, WSDL.
Ability to assist the implementation partners SOA architect to design and implement a production SOA framework.
Ability to design a new implementation of the Enterprise Service Bus (ESB)/ Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) tier.
Experience building BPEL processes to support orchestration of web services.
Familiarity with EBS R12, OTM, and Demantra application suites. In depth experience with one of the application areas.
Responsible for the implementation, administration and configuration of SOA architecture.
Experience working with the application DBAs to install and configure the SOA architecture.
Familiarity with Oracle RAC and Clusterware.
Experience with researching and applying upgrades and patches for SOA.
Ability to monitor capacity and incremental growth adjusting for actual capacity usage vs. planned usage.
Knowledge of Unix or Linux.
SYSTEM DEVELOPMENT AND METHODOLOGY
Experience with the system development life cycle methodology to design, code, unit test, system test, performance test, debug, implement, and support Oracle systems.
Ability to work with technical and functional teams to ensure effective delivery of systems.
Experience preparing written technical specifications based on functional requirement documents and requirement gathering sessions.
Ability to conduct interview with users and data owners to understand integration requirements
Participate in design sessions with project staff as required.
Participate in team reviews of design artifacts and code, make changes as required, and recommend alternative solutions where appropriate.
Follow established processes for configuration and release management to ensure that all project artifacts are managed, integrated, and versioned according to standards.
Experience with version Control tools like PVCS Tracker, Visual Source Safe, Remedy, etc.
EXPERIENCE
7+ years of experience, of which at least 2 Oracle SOA tools.
At least 2 years experience with implementation or upgrade projects .
