Senior ERP Report Developer Summary:
Candidate will be responsible for the development of custom reports using Oracle Developer Suite 10g and related technologies. The role includes leading and training junior developers, assigning work tasks, and reviewing the status. The role will spend approximately 70% of the time developing specifications or reports and 30% leading and training the junior developers.
This position requires an ability to interface with users, functional consultants, and the project management office. Candidate should have complete understanding of ERP implementation cycle and prior implementation experience is a must. Prior experience working with an outsourcing vendor both in-house and off-shore will be an added advantage.
ORACLE REPORT DEVELOPMENT
• Oracle R12 Applications experience / exposure. (11i good too)
• Microsoft Office Suite including Project.
• Hands on experience in Oracle Developer Suite.
• Strong hands on experience in developing Oracle Reports using Oracle Report Builder (Developer Suite 10g).
• Experience with OBIEE (Oracle Business Intelligence) and good exposure to Data Warehouse related concepts / development.
• Code migration and version control.
• PL/SQL and SQL.
• SQL*Plus.
• Experience using the AIM or OUM methodology.
• Prior experience in working with Oracle for resolving technical related issues and raising SRs.
• Train existing staff in Oracle concepts and report development tools
• Recommend Oracle training for staff and act as a coach to assist in their learning progress
QUALIFICATIONS:
• At least 5 years experience with Oracle E-Business
o Oracle reports
o OBIEE
• At least 2 years experience with implementation or upgrade projects and one full cycle project
• Demonstrated success in providing leadership, coordination, and integration of development efforts
• Version Control tools like PVCS Tracker, Visual Source Safe, and Remedy
