POSITION DESCRIPTION & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Wandering WiFi is looking for a Mid-Sr. level UI C# Developer that has experience creating consumer-facing applications that are intuitive and attractive. This person will be responsible for developing UI’s for a wireless management application and for mobile devices using the latest C# .Net technologies. This role will require both the technical know-how to build the front end of the site and the aesthetic taste to create a UI that is attractive and user friendly. This person must have hands-on experience developing consumer web applications, and the ability to own major portions of an application. This is a developer, not a designer position. This person must have experience with WPF and SilverLight. Local candidates only.
• The Lead UI Developer would be responsible for establishing and maintaining the overall UI standards and in mentoring other engineers and UI developers in adopting these standards across the suite of Client products.
• Strong experience developing web-based user interfaces, including RIA technologies is essential.
• Experience in the full lifecycle of web application development, from requirements analysis and design through QC.
• Work in a team environment to design, and build UI’s on a .NET (primarily C#) Server Platform.
• Improve business processes and support critical business strategies by contributing to the design, development, and implementation of business applications systems
• Mentor and manage small team of developers and best practices for the team
• Contribute to the development of the technical requirements that drive product development
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Minimum or 3 years working with .Net C#
• Must have experience with WPF/Silverlight
• Extensive experience with AJAX
• JQuery, MooTools, or related experience desired
• Infragistics, Telerik, or ComponentArt experience a plus
• Experience as a team lead
• Self-motivated and able to work independently with little or no supervision
• Ability to handle confidential information
• Results-driven and goal-oriented attitude
• Conscientious about producing the highest quality of work
