POSITION DESCRIPTION & RESPONSIBILITIES:
The .Net Developer position is responsible for designing and developing commercial enterprise solutions for a wireless management application using the latest C# .Net technologies, SQL Server 2005 and other technologies, as appropriate. Candidates must also be able to build the components of a reusable object service-oriented architecture (SOA) including n-tier design and web services in an Agile-based environment.
Translate business requirements into technical designs and implementations that require data integration from various sources such as mobile devices, access points, enterprise WLAN and Wi-Fi hotspot infrastructure
Create innovative software solutions following object-oriented best practices from design through implementation (including design, documentation, testing, using Visual Studio 2008 and Team Foundation Server)
Work in a team environment to design, and build applications on a .NET (primarily C#) Server Platform.
Improve business processes and support critical business strategies by contributing to the design, development, and implementation of business applications systems
Mentor and manage small team of developers and best practices for the team
Contribute to the development of the technical requirements that drive product development
Self-starter and team player with strong oral and written communication skills
Ability to handle confidential information
Results-driven and goal-oriented attitude
Conscientious about producing the highest quality of work
QUALIFICATIONS:
BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
3-6 years application development experience on the C# .NET platform
Prefer 2+ years experience working with .NET Framework 3.x above
Extensive experience with XML and data modeling
Experience using advanced features of AJAX Toolkit a plus
Minimum 2+ years working on either commercial, shrink-wrap and/or Enterprise class application software
Strong Object Oriented design and analysis skills
Proficient with using UML to model software designs
Experience with full software development lifecycle
