The National Council for the Prevention of Impaired Driving (aka SafeRide America) recently receive a donated van. It seems like a solid van, but needs some engine maintenance and some dressing up (new paint and windows tinted).

It's a 1995 Toyota Previa w/200k miles. It just passed emission testing. It is used in providing rides for impaired drivers to keep our streets safe for everyone- that's our mission. We're looking for a mechanic (or at least someone who can work on engines) to perform some basic work to the engine. It needs a tune up- new plugs (and maybe wires), check the belts (and maybe change them), oil/filter change, battery checked, maybe the motor mounts changed (it shakes in drive but not in neutral) and anything else you can think of to keep it a reliable, good running van. These vans are known for their durability and that's what we need it to be for us. You provide the labor and, if needed, we will provide the parts.

Since it represents our charity, we also want to make it look a little better- it has some paint issues. Our logo's colors are orange and black so we are also looking to have the van painted black. We would like to have the windows tinted.
