Duties include: diaper changing, bathroom help, serving breakfast & lunch, playing with the children, taking children outside daily, picking up toys, laying cots out for nap, etc. I will be in and out of the house, (mostly out), and you will need to feel comfortable caring for a total of six children by yourself. Your "baby" must be well trained and get along with my two dogs --my dogs (girls) are larger (60 and 85 lb). I have a fenced in yard (see picture). No destructive dogs please. Must be house trained and cannot watch dogs that destroy furniture/home.

My dogs are not aggressive and are very loving and get along well with other dogs. They enjoy playmates and have done very well with other dogs who spend the night.

Available most weekends. Weekdays are difficult due to my work schedule but we can discuss further when we meet.

Crate is available if needed but would prefer to keep your dog out of crate unless owner wants otherwise. Dog sitting fees will be based on the needs of your dog.

I really need to find a new home for my kitty as soon as possible. I am moving in with my boyfriend in 2 weeks and cannot take her with me because he is allergic to cats. I have been trying for over a month now to place her, but to no avail.

If you are interested in a very sweet, loving female cat, please respond to this posting. She is about 6 years old, spayed, and has had her shots. She's very much a one- or two-person cat, and doesn't get along with other animals very well, so ideally she would need to be your only pet. She loves attention and she likes to play. She also loves to go outside, so if you want an indoor/outdoor cat, she would be perfect. And you wouldn't have to worry about her running away. She just likes to go outside and sniff things and roll around.

I am getting really nervous that I won't be able to find a home for her, so please help me! I can't even think of taking her to a regular shelter, and all of the no-kill shelters are full right now.

First off i have been stood up twice by people saying they were coming by at a specific time, obviously not serious in the first place or just getting their kicks out of pranking. Then i post more ads clearly stating everything about my cockatiel and my location, which is plain for all to see on each post that i am in Thomaston. So i get idiots emailing me using slang wording, asking "Where R U at?" and asking me to come meet them after i clearly stated do not ask me to come meet you. I am not going to reply to any more of these people acting like they dont have enough sense to know what a cockatiel even is let alone sense enough to adopt one. I think they may be some of the same people that are flagging everyone on here and acting rude towards us folks just honestly trying to find an animal a GOOD home.

One would have hoped that Barack Obama's presumptive capturing of the Democratic presidential nomination would have dampened the mainstream media's obsession with race, but instead, they've figured out a way to obsess even further about it since Obama's putative victory.

You almost can't read election headlines in a major newspaper without some reference to race issues. Earlier this week, Google News featured three back-to-back stories in its "Elections" section highlighting race:

"McCain looks to make gains among black voters," "Race, Foreign-Policy Plant Doubts for Obama" and "Poll Finds Obama Isn't Closing Divide on Race."

The last one is a New York Times article analyzing results from the latest New York Times/CBS News poll. It proves the Times just can't let race go, whether it's because of the liberal guilt of its reporters and editors or because they want to keep the racial pot stirred for purposes of newspaper sales or because they deem racial polarization advantageous to Obama.

The story's lead paragraph reads: "Americans are sharply divided by race heading into the first election in which an African-American will be a major-party presidential nominee, with blacks and whites holding vastly different views of Senator Barack Obama, the state of race relations and how black Americans are treated by society, according to the poll."

Tell me: Do we really need a poll, much less elitist analysts, to tell us that "Americans are sharply divided by race" when it comes to any presidential election? What is newsworthy here? Is it not true that upward of 90 percent of black voters have been voting Democratic in all presidential elections of recent memory? Quite apart from Obama's race, blacks vote Democratic and the white vote is split.

If liberal journalists had just a little more intellectual honesty and an ounce of intellectual freedom, they could first recognize, then report, that there do not appear to be similar feelings of race alienation among whites as there are among blacks. Yet the Times article, including its title, implies there is complete mutuality.

The Times admits that part of the "polarization" is political but says the poll also "underlined the racial discord." For example, "More than 80 percent of black voters said they had a favorable opinion of Mr. Obama; about 30 percent of white voters said they had a favorable opinion of him."

But how does the 80/30 dichotomy necessarily support the Times' conclusion that it's a result of racial discord? As to the 80 percent of blacks supporting Obama, even some black conservatives are suggesting they are attracted to his candidacy -- mystifying as that is -- because he would be the first black president (apologies to Bill Clinton). As conservative black Michael Steele said on "Hannity & Colmes" recently, this "is not rocket science." Obama could be "elected the first African-American president of the United States."

But the dubious 30 percent favorable rating among whites, even if accurate, can't automatically be attributed to Obama's race. Obama is an extreme liberal who is running in a center-right nation and has insulted a large part of America's population with his Bittergate remarks and attended a church whose pastor condemned America. While the latter involves a racial component, it issues from Obama and his former church, not from whites.

The Times also quoted a black Pennsylvania Democratic poll participant implying that whites oppose Obama's candidacy because they want to stay in power: "Basically it's the same old problem, the desire for power. People get so obsessed with power and don't want to share it. There are people who are not used to blacks being on top."

What is bizarre about this is that Obama is not only the nominee but also the odds-on favorite to win the general election in a nation whose voters are overwhelmingly white. If the media must dwell on race, why can't they celebrate Obama's so-far-successful candidacy?

It's sad that these liberals are compelled to view this race through a racial prism instead of understanding that the lion's share of any opposition to Obama is based on his politics, his record and experience, his flip-flops, his statements, his arrogance and his associations, not his race.

If Obama wins, conservatives won't view him as a black president, but as a liberal one. His race is irrelevant to us, unless he and others start making everything about race and forfeit any strides we've made or aspirations we retain on colorblindness.

Race relations could improve immeasurably if the liberal establishment would quit treating minorities as exploitable objects instead of equal human beings.

If the liberal media's approach to Obama's candidacy is any indication, we'll rarely read a race-free story during Obama's term if he is elected. No matter what liberal dogma preaches, that cannot be good for blacks, other minorities or race relations in this country.

I am a stay at home mom of two boys. The ages are 3 and 5. My 5-year-old will be attending kindergarden this year starting on Aug. 4th at Hightower Elementary in Conyers. I am looking to keep one or two small kids in my home to play with my 3-year-old. I would be dropping off and picking up my older son from school. The school hours are 7:35 a.m. to 2:10 p.m. The school is only 2 minutes away. I have a minivan so, seating would be no problem if I need to transport other children with me. My older son has therapy once a week on Tuesday's so right afterschool we would travel to Loganville. So, I am looking for someone who wants care during those hours or who doesn't mind me taking their child with us which we would wait in a waiting area where they have lots of toys and books. They even have a playground near by while we wait. His therapy usually is only an 1 1/2 hours and it is about 15 minutes away in Loganville.

I am a previous nanny and daycare teacher. I have 10+ years in this area. I have been off and on part time since I have had my children. My older son has autism so I have special needs experience also. I am very structured with lots of activites and schedule. We live on Miller Bottom Road which is near the hwy 138 end close to the horsepark. Our address says Loganville but we are convenient to both Loganville and Conyers. I can get to Loganville city limits or Conyers in about 10 minutes.

I am a non-smoker, honest, trust worthy and a outgoing person who loves children. I am cpr and first aid certified from daycare. I have great references and a clean background. I live on 5 acres so we have a big yard full of toys. My boys love the outdoors so I can provide lots of activities outdoors. I am very loving and can provide a safe environment for your kids.
I can also offer part-time mother's morning out. I am looking to have a few children in my home from the ages 6 weeks to 5 years old. From the hours of 8:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. I will have lots of activities including story time, arts and crafts, games, outside time and circle time. I will also include meals and snacks. I have a safe and loving environment to offer your child. You can come part-time or full-time. I charge 2 days a week at $30 and 3 days a week at $40 or 5 days a week at $65.

UPDATE: ONLY ONE LITTLE GUY LEFT, HIS BROTHER GOT ADOPTED OUT, THE ONE WITH THE ORANGE BANDANA HAS ALREADY FOUND A HOME, THANKS!

These little guys are not just adorable, but are very smart as well!! They are Lab/Beagle mix & will be medium sized dogs when full grown. They still have a bit to go, but are doing great with potty breaks outside! They are 8wks old,they are Up To Date on their shots & have been dewormed, I am asking an adoption fee of $40.00 to help out with the costs of their vaccinations and deworming, care, etc...Trust me they are worth every penny of it, they have such great personalities! They get along fine with other animals, & kids! Thanks!
