I was just sitting at home this morning wondering after all this time where is that man who has enough things in common with me and has similar interests, goals and dreams. The one who is the right mental, emotional and spiritual fit for me. I've become somewhat emotionally drained from my last attempt at trying to find a partner, taking the time to bare my heart and soul, listening to so many stories that they want the same things as me, only to find out later that they only told me what I wanted to hear because they didn't know themselves well enough, and really don't know what they want and aren't serious about a committed relationship. I'm not bitter...but I am tired of stories from confused and thoughtless people who don't caring about wasting my time or theirs.
I am loving, giving, sweet, a little shy at first, but extremely playful. I'm kind of like a puppy now that I think of it. lol. I am very affectionate, and I need to receive a lot of affection. I want to build something real with someone. I am deserving of a real partnership of the heart and soul. People have a certain idea or stereotype of what they want in a mate. It all comes down to choices.
My tastes in music run the gamut from old school to jazz and alternative. I love music, and live music events. I also like football and baseball. I'm drawn to the ocean. I like to cook. I have my own place, but never had a real home with someone. I'm not high maintenance, but I am feminine and girlish. I'm more jeans and t-shirt type of girl, but I have plenty of little black dresses if you want to take me out on the town. I'm down to earth, genuine, soft spoken but I have many opinions and ideas and I'm not shy about voicing anything. I enjoy spontaneous picnics and weekend getaways, lazy rainy days in watching movies with the man I love. I'd like a guy who also enjoys travel and making time for fun in the relationship...because that's what keeps the relationship alive through the years
Anyway, if any of this has piqued your interest or if it sounds like we share things in common and you want to know more, write back to me. I'm looking for someone who understand themselves, what they need, are clear about their goals, dreams and priorities.
