I do not know what is going on with some of the other TV's that you see offered on this site, but there are no gimmicks with this one. You just buy the TV and you're done. You don't buy anything else, you don't sign up for anything, you don't have to do anything to buy this TV but show up with money; end o story!

The viewing screen on this TV is about 42" by about 28"; the total cabinet is larger than that by about an inch on all sides. You can go on line and look up every other detail that you could possibly want on this TV. You can get this in the house and set up for the family coming for the Holidays - it is really easy- my boys call me old school; non technical; bigger hammer guy. This is the first flat screen in my house and Quick start instructions have 5 steps - 2 of which are find the coax cable connector on the back of the TV and screw on the coax cable. Trust me it is too easy. I have learned that you can get HD TV reception free with rabbit ears. Not what I expected.

Barely used..
3 of the speakers (Front center, and rear surround (Left and Right)) include Heavy Duty mounting brackets for easy mounting (see pictures)
This system was $350 when I bought it, Brackets were about $50 for the set, but barely got to take advantage of the power these things can handle..

Mission 717


Very nice pair of Mission 717 2 way monitors. These are a personal favorite of mine.
I think that the speakers Mission made in this period are some of the best looking of
almost any British monitors made to this day. The gleaming white faces, high end drivers,
and high quality walnut veneered cabinets are just gorgeous. They also happen to sound
fantastic! Their real strong suit is precision and excellent control in the mids and highs.
The tweeter, a 1" soft dome (silk) driver, is very detailed and never overly harsh or squaky.
The woofer, which I believe is an 8" treated paper cone with butyl surrounds, has a long throw making
it capable of very good bass response but is "fast" enough to deliver excellent midrange detail.
The bass response is very tight and controlled, but I won't lie, they are best paired with a subwoofer
if you are looking for earth shattering low end. Played alone they have a great full range sound and would
compliment a medium to small room perfectly. I used a pair of these as my bedroom speakers for years and they were lovely.
This pair is working perfectly and sounding as good as ever. The cabinets have some damage on top to the finish (i.e. ring stain etc)
but nothing to severe. They have a few odd chips and scrapes but altogether look GREAT! The grills are included and are also in very
good shape aside from a few stains that could be cleaned out. But then again, why would anyone ever put grills on these things?!?!
This is a truly classic pair of monitors by possibly the most under rated of all British
hifi companies. There is no way a pair of these in your living room won't be a conversation starter
