The Promethean Activclassroom and peripheral accessories is the most exciting technology available to the K20 classroom today. As a turnkey partner, Logical Choice represents Promethean products and has doubled in size each of the last 3 years.

We currently have an opening for a Project Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for the management of major internal and external projects, including the installation of Logical Choice Technologies’ range of products into K12 classrooms, as well as corporate organizational initiatives. This person must represent the company to decision-makers of customer organizations in a manner that earns and maintains their trust and confidence. You will be responsible for setting the pace of the projects, maintaining the projects’ momentum until completion while balancing the need for profitability with the need for high customer satisfaction. This is a strategic position with tactical functionality.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Plan
a. Meet with internal and external stakeholders to develop the project plan;
b. Concisely document the plan and distribute to all stakeholders;
c. Coordinate with the Purchasing Manager and Area Service Manager to insure that all products necessary for the completion of the project are
identified.

2. Coordinate and Execute
a. Coordinate scheduling and logistics to insure project plan is on schedule;
b. Work with Area Service Manager to assign human resources to the project;
c. Facilitate and document customer change orders.

3. Monitor and Control
a. Monitor the project on an on-going basis;
b. Regularly communicate project status to all stakeholders;
c. Conduct weekly conference calls with stakeholders; i.e., customer and internal departments;
d. Maintain customer satisfaction throughout the entire process.

4. Close
a. Customer acceptance of project completion;
b. Assemble all project completion documentation including sign-offs, photos and inventory, and work with Accounting to provide accurate invoicing;
c. Communicate any post-project warranty requirements with Customer Support.

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

1. PMP Certified or pursing certification highly preferred;
2. College degree in related field preferred;
3. Five or more years experience in Project Management;
4. P&L experience;
5. Proficient in MS Office Suite and MS Project;
6. Exceptional time management and organizational skills;
7. Ability to interact with multiple departments, and multiple levels of responsibility in a professional and courteous manner;
8. Ability to work autonomously;
9. Ability to multi-task; handle multiple internal and external projects simultaneously;
10. Great Plains experience a plus;
11. Exceptional communication skills a must.
