Atlanta's most trusted pet sitting service seeks an experienced, professional pet sitter. This is a part-time position, however, you can earn a full-time income depending upon the amount of work assignments you accept.
Only applicants living in Sandy Springs, Dunwoody, and Roswell will be accepted. Our clients live in these towns, and to save your gas expense, it's best that you do as well.
HOURS:
We have two different work schedules; dog walk and pet sit. Please choose which is best for you, or both.
Dog Walk visits are scheduled during business hours/midday Monday through Friday, Half hour dog walks. You will drive from client house to client house to walk dogs using your car (see pay for details below on gas allowance). A typical day will have three or more dog walks scheduled in Sandy Springs, Dunwoody, and Roswell. You must have reliable transportation and be available to serve these towns.
Pet Sit visits are scheduled in the morning, evening, on weekends and holidays. Half hour pet sit visits. A typical pet sit assignment: The Smith family is traveling Wednesday through Sunday night. They want two daily visits; AM and PM for their two dogs. You would care for their dogs in the morning and evening every day from Wednesday - Sunday, for a total pay of $100.00. You will drive from client house to client house caring for pets using your car. Most pet sit clients book two visits a day; morning (7 am - 9 am ) and evening (7 - 9 pm) to coincide with feeding and potty breaks. If you work holidays, we pay time and half on the holiday.
RESPONSBILITIES: Pet care, house sitting (bring in mail), keeping client house keys, meeting with clients on evenings or weekends to set up service (the client is then YOUR client, not shared with another sitter), and filling out instruction forms (instructions that the client give you at the meeting).
YOU MUST MEET ALL THE FOLLOWING REQUIREMENTS:
*You must be 25 or older.
*You must submit a criminal background check.
*This is a professional position - you may NOT bring children, friends, relatives, or pets to work appointments.
*Have a flexible schedule.
*Have pet care experience with dogs and cats.
*Be dedicated - our clients want to establish a long-term relationship with you, their pet sitter.
*Have a cell phone.
*Own reliable transportation.
*Have daily internet access and email
*Have superb written and verbal communications skills
*Be willing to meet with clients at their home and fill out instruction forms.
*Be responsible, punctual, and organized.
*Be reliable and honest.
PAY: $10.00 per dog walk or pet sit visit (each visit is 30 minutes), ($8.00 plus $2.00 gas allowance).
