What a find!!! A near mint 1999 USA 3-Tone Sunburst finish Fender American Standard Telecaster with a Maple neck! The best part about this guitar is that I know the complete history. If you want a 10 year old high-quality American Fender guitar that’s been played for less than an hour with an absolutely flawless finish, you just found it!!
A good friend of mine bought this guitar new from Guitar Center in Hollywood in 1999, thinking he would learn how to play. He never did learn, and the guitar sat in its case under his bed for over 10 years! I have played this guitar, and it plays beautifully! The neck is true and the action is really great. I don’t think it’s ever had a professional setup. It’s literally pristine. Cosmetically, it is spectacular! Not a nick or a scratch on it to discuss. All chrome parts are gleaming like the day it was made. Even the original hardshell Fender case is like new!
The serial number is N 910144 and is clearly pictured on the headstock.
