Not really interested in doing outside gigs. Just want to drink a few beers and jam. I like everything from Aerosmith to Zeppelin, with SRV and Skynrd in between. Metallica or Godsmack are probably about as hard rock as I am interested in. I don't have much use for today's thrash and speed metal. I like hard rock with melody. Bluesy rock works too.

I have an unfinished basement and a nice Yamaha Stage Custom drumset with double bass. Due to work M-F / 8-5, and family 24/7, jamming would probably be limited to weekends. No drugs.

For frame of reference, I'm in my early 40's. I've been playing drums for a long time, but have limited experience jamming with others. I can lay down a solid beat for all of the music types listed above, but I cannot match Lars Ulrich's speed on double bass. Maybe someday...

If things really clicked and we wanted to pursue a couple of local weekend gigs, I would not be opposed, but I am mot looking for a new career.
