HealthPort, a one-source healthcare solutions provider, is currently seeking qualified candidates for our Software Developer position in Alpharetta, GA.
This position will design, develop, test and/or maintain various applications within HealthPort while providing technical support and troubleshooting that are beyond capabilities of the help desk or customer service. May assist with performing on-site client work. Will operate under moderately close supervision.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Design, develop, test and/or maintain various client applications using C#, ASP.NET, Web Services, SOA, Windows Services, Oracle SQL, PL/SQL
Ability to analyze business requirements, design, develop, test and implement software components
Provide technical support and troubleshooting that are beyond capabilities of help desk or customer service
Analyze and rectify QA and production problems
Ensure proper functioning of applications in a production environment
Defines and documents requirements for data, workflow, logical processes, and interfaces with other systems.
Other tasks and projects as assigned by management
Job Requirements
5+ years of software engineering experience in Enterprise development and design
1-2 years of classic ASP experience
At least 3 years in object-oriented development in an enterprise-wide application environment utilizing C#, WinForms, ASP.NET.
Thorough knowledge of HTML, JavaScript, CSS, XML.
Experience with web services and service-oriented architecture.
Knowledge of Oracle SQL, PL/SQL is a plus.
Prefer someone who can work on Microsoft and Java applications. (Java, Java Swing, J2EE)
Industry recognized certifications a plus (MCSD, MCTS, OCP ,SCJP)
Education:
BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
