SalesGlobe/The Sales Leadership Forum is looking for a seasoned professional as a Writer and Research Assistant. You'll focus on:

-Assisting in writing reports, white papers, and articles from live interviews, surveys, and client executive discussion groups held by the firm’s partners. Includes supporting the partners with refining observations from research and developing recommendations made by the partners. Also includes some creative writing to develop themes and make the subject matter compelling to the reader.

-Providing consulting project support such as basic analysis and information evaluation (under the guidance of the partners), and other project workflow management activities.

-Providing some general administrative support for two of the firm's partners. This includes appointment scheduling with clients, report and document editing and production, and overall business support.

This role is part-time project-based to start with the potential to transition to full-time in the future. Work location may be from your home, at our offices, and at local client locations with the partners during business meetings. As part of this role, you will have regular client contact. Our clients are Fortune 1000 sales and marketing executives across a range of industries.

Skills and Background Required:

-Professional, executive-level presentation in-person and by phone.

-Creativity in writing and developing ideas and content from concepts developed by the partners.

-Ability to refine and present work in a clear fashion and in effective formats, with strong skills in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.

-Experience working with senior executives and mid-level executives in general management, sales management, marketing management, or human resources.

-Ability to self-manage and work semi-independently with managers who travel and work at client locations.

-Energetic and positive with a can-do attitude while having fun doing great work.

-Experience as a business writer with an understanding of sales and marketing terminology is a plus.

-Prior experience working in a sales organization and knowledge of sales organizations is a plus although this is not a sales position.

-Degree in English, writing, or similar areas with an application to business is a plus.
