Most important part of this role (initially) is helping to migrate to a new back-up system. They are moving from Netbackup and Backup exec to Networker on Red Hat in an VmWare environment. <br>
<br>
Duties:<br>

Restore 4-5 years of exchange backups and archive data to Networker (2hrs a day rotation with other admin)<br>
<br>
Process:<br>
<br>
I believe they are going first to restore (Backup exec/NetBackup) sessions of Exchange into VmWare ESX and then from there re-archive with Networker. Extensive Active Directory and Exchange MX will be critical for this role.<br>

POSITION DESCRIPTION & RESPONSIBILITIES:
<br>

<br>
Designs, implements, and supports network, network security, network management, and telecommunication environments. This position will take the overall strategy and plan, verify the technical details, then work with a team to implement and operate the infrastructure.  	
<br>

<br>
•	Plans and implements upgrades to networks; installs and configures software and hardware.
<br>
•	Plans, maintains and supports networks to ensure overall availability and reliability of networked resources.
<br>
•	Identifies and investigates complex network malfunctions: isolates causes of errors to routers, Ethernet switches, firewalls, cabling, communication lines; contacts and liaises with vendors for resolution of hardware problems.
<br>
•	Coordinates and supports the day-to-day operation of networks: adds users, monitors user accounts, provides user training and technical support for user problems.
<br>
•	Monitors usage, capacity, and performance of networks; liaises with users and/or vendors to address problems and changes in requirements.
<br>
•	Performs routine maintenance on networks: runs cable, installs network cards, etc.
<br>
•	Performs back-ups, implements procedures for disaster recovery where required.
<br>
•	Maintains system documentation, including licenses, user manuals, hardware and software inventory, security listings, and diagrams.

•	Provides technical guidance and coaching
<br>
•	Work with other departments to provide an overall 99.999% availability of enterprise and production services

This person will need to be a Learning Systems Instructional Technologist and understand content development and technology—please do not apply if you are a straight instructional designer, as you need to be well-versed on the technology side as well. Experienced in several systems implementations & project management.  The ideal candidate will need to be well versed in e-learning standards and systems architecture (ADL, SCORM, IMS, IACC) content authoring and authoring tools –overall to be well versed in learning technology systems and content production. Emphasis here is on having authored courses and have a deep understanding of content production.<br>

You will then be trained on our software product suites and be able to demo the products to prospective clients in a pre-sales role and be able to implement our software and services solutions in a delivery role; developing, performing and managing technology systems integrations as well as provide client training on our solutions. <br>
<br>
You will be based out of our Gwinnett Co office and this position requires you to travel for system implementation planning and integrations. This position is also client facing, so you should also be well-spoken and very neat in appearance. <br>

Education & Experience: <br>

BS in Instructional Technology or related field <br>
3-5 years in business consulting, client relations, project management <br>
