The Client Systems Technical Analyst position is primarily focused on client management and deployment for more than 100 Rock-Tenn locations. Duties include disk image management, installation package creation, and software deployments for the Windows platform. Other areas of focus include testing hardware and software, maintaining hardware standards, and providing various decision support reports to management. The analyst will also serve as a last line of support for desktop issues escalated from the End User Support group.
The Technical Analyst is required to have a minimum of one year experience in the following technical skills:
- Image creation and management using Microsoft Sysprep and other imaging technologies
- Software deployment in Microsoft Systems Management Server
- Windows Installer authoring using Wise Package Studio or Macrovision (InstallShield) AdminStudio
- SQL query authoring using Transact-SQL
- Scripting in PowerShell, Visual Basic Script (VBScript) or WiseScript
- Familiarity with Active Directory and Group Policy
- Technical documentation authoring and editing.
