The house is all hardwood, has a fireplace, washer/dryer, dishwasher, two stories and 2 full bath. The front porch is just about the best one in Athens and the house is fully and quite nicely furnished... Bar, Kegerator, drum set, guitars, TV DVD player, all you would need is a bed and your toothbrush (actually a bed can be left too). I live with 2 guys (24 year olds) not crazy, not boring that I have been living with for 3 years and they are great roommates. It is a pretty sweet deal actually, the house is on the market for 1,700 but we worked out a deal to get it for 1,200 a month, the house is well worth it. These type of ads always say close to UGA and downtown and so on... This house actually is. I have an internship that came up for next semester and that is the only reason I am trying to sublet my room. I assure you that this living situation would work for anyone, male, female studious or not. There is just a ton of privacy and space and curteous roommates. I am paying $705 a month for rent excluding utilies (which can be transferred to your name when moved in), the price I am paying for a 2 bedroom now is less than what the ONE BEDROOMS are going for at the complex currently. My lease is up Dec. 31st, so what would happen is I would move out as soon as someone wants to move in. Then their name would go on the lease with mine until Dec 31st, however I will be moved out. Then, at December 31st I will be taking my name off the lease, and you could renew it as long as you wanted or could take your name off the lease as well, either way. I will clean the appt spotless b4 leaving, and I am the only one that has ever lived here, so it is very clean. Less than a minute to Gainesville and Lanier Tech. It is easily accessible to all of Downtown, Midtown, and Buckhead - including public transportation.<br>

Marta bus stops for both east-west and north-south transits are right outside our building. The buses head to Marta train stations – one five minutes away (1.2 miles walking), the other ten minutes away (2 miles walking). So public transportation is as easy as it gets in this town from our place.<br>
<br>
It is an easy walk to the grounds of Georgia Tech. You can see the grounds from our back deck. Perfect for a Georgia Tech student or Georgia State student. It is 2 miles north of Georgia State University or a ten minute bus ride – there is a Marta bus stop right outside the building.<br>

There is a washer and dryer in building. The $ 495 per month rental rate includes all utilities including cable fast wi-fi and wired DSL.<br>
<br>
This is just west of the Tech campus on the Tech side of the Westside Waterworks warehouse and entertainment area. It's a great eclectic area with no franchises. Lots of places voted or selected "Best of Atlanta" are within walking distance. See the below for a list.<br>

The Westside Waterworks area is an eclectic intown area composed of old warehouses (our building is not an old warehouse) which have been renovated into office and residential lofts and restaurants, bars, and interior decorating stores. It's a hot entertainment district. It's compared to New York's meatpacking district which is apt since this indeed, is an old meatpacking district. See www.artery.org. and <a href="http://www.artery.org/Directory/Directory.htm"  rel="nofollow">http://www.artery.org/Directory/Directory.htm</a> It still looks a little sketchy but is not. All the panhandlers and parasites are east of the downtown connector in Midtown proper. This neighborhood of old warehouses converted into antique shops, bars, restaurants, decorating and design shops, and offices is the hottest and coolest area in Atlanta. But it's not for everyone – again, if you like suburbia you won't like this. (Note that a lot of the photographs of the old warehouses on www.artery.org are the "before renovation" photographs. Those buildings are now magnificent."<br>

As an example of how popular this area has become, office space in one of the old renovated warehouses costs as much as Class A space on Peachtree Street.<br>

The conversation along the line centers on the same theme – “don’t tell anybody else about this place so we don’t have to wait in line so darn long.” A ten minute walk from us.<br>

It is easily accessible to all of Downtown, Midtown, and Buckhead - including public transportation.<br>
<br>
Marta bus stops for both east-west and north-south transits are right outside our building. The buses head to Marta train stations – one five minutes away (1.2 miles walking), the other ten minutes away (2 miles walking). So public transportation is as easy as it gets in this town from our place.<br>
<br>
It is an easy walk to the grounds of Georgia Tech. You can see the grounds from our back deck. Perfect for a Georgia Tech student or Georgia State student. It is 2 miles north of Georgia State University or a ten minute bus ride – there is a Marta bus stop right outside the building.<br>
<br>
There is a washer and dryer in building. The $ 495 per month rental rate includes all utilities including cable fast wi-fi and wired DSL.<br>
<br>
This is just west of the Tech campus on the Tech side of the Westside Waterworks warehouse and entertainment area. It's a great eclectic area with no franchises. Lots of places voted or selected "Best of Atlanta" are within walking distance. See the below for a list.<br>

It is a luxury apartment complex, and ours is one of the few that has been completely renovated. We are the first people to have lived in it since it was renovated with all new appliances, flooring, bathroom tile, etc. Washer/dryer, dishwasher, disposal, microwave, stainless steal fridge, granite countertops. It is a very quiet complex, with great neighbors all around. There is a large area with stone grills, outdoor benches, a dog run, tennis courts, swimming pool, and a fitness center. The complex is surrounded by woods, but within less than a mile of  restaurants and shopping places, including Perimeter Mall. The apartment has been wonderful to live in, whenever we have needed anything there has never been any wait or problem. I unfortunately do not have any pictures right now, but if you are seriously interested we can set up a time for you to come see the place.  We are having to leave due to unforseen circumstances. We are signing the lease over to whomeever wants the apartment, therefore you will be on the lesae, we will no longer remain on it. The only thing you need to do to sign the lease is a credit check done by the complex. We have already paid the pet deposit, so a pet is not a problem. Also, we paid a $350 security deposit which will be yours to keep when the lease is up. The lease runs until the end of May. The Westside Waterworks area is an eclectic intown area composed of old warehouses (our building is not an old warehouse) which have been renovated into office and residential lofts and restaurants, bars, and interior decorating stores. It's a hot entertainment district. It's compared to New York's meatpacking district which is apt since this indeed, is an old meatpacking district. All the panhandlers and parasites are east of the downtown connector in Midtown proper.
