Are you an experienced business reporter/writer who can put together short, fun, personality-oriented “infotainment” pieces about Atlanta’s business and technology community?
We’re looking for writers with a sense of humor and ideally experience covering the city’s technology/business community for a new email/website in the area. Previous journalistic photography experience also a plus but not mandatory.
Writers/reporters will hit the business scene and need to be available to cover events and go on site to interview an executive and take pics, etc.
We’re trying to spice things up here, so we’re not looking for traditional hard core journalism....candidates will need to “adopt” the personality of the site in their writing.
Candidates should also be highly professional in appearance, articulate and outgoing as you will be the “face” of the website in many regards.
We’re looking for 2-3 folks who will initially be available to put together 1-3 pieces per month for us. As frequency of our email/website grows, that could increase within a few months.
Pay is on a per piece basis and is in line with typical business journalism in the area (and commensurate with qualifications and experience).
