This clock is a vintage work of art and is gold plated. There is no ticking and no winding - the clock self-winds through changes in atmospheric pressure. It looks great, keeps wonderful time, and with the correct amount of care and maintenance it will last many lifetimes.
Awarded in 1976 to my best friends father, Joseph W. Hutchinson, who received it from Union Carbide Corporation after 25 years loyal service. To keep this clock original I have not removed the plaque. By keeping the plaque it helps prove when it was made, who it was made for, and why it was made. I assume it was built between 1975 - 1976 because of the engraved plaque.
