Your health and happiness are basic needs. We all have to actively pursue a healthy, happy and active lifestyle. We often try out programs of fitness that work for a while, or that we can`t maintain over time. If you look at most exercise programs they are based on sports, or sports training methods. But there is a reason that most athletes retire around 30 years of age. Not only do sports cause injury but performance declines over time. Yoga and Meditation are methods of health and fitness that we can maintain well into advanced age. Too often we focus on weight loss or just how we look. Much more important is functional fitness, mental acuity, and emotional balance and happiness. Invest in yourself. Invest in health and happiness. Sometimes we need to take a moment on this freight train we call "life" and see if we are going to a place of peace and contentment.
