Warehouse Associate – Audio Visual Production Company (Full-Time)
Schedule: Full-Time (some overtime, early mornings, nights, and weekends as required)
Compensation: $10 hr - 15hr
Audio-visual production company looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Warehouse Associate with hands-on knowledge of AV equipment. This position plays a critical role in ensuring our events and productions are properly prepared, organized, and executed on schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
Equipment Preparation & Returns
Pull, prep, and stage AV equipment for upcoming events based on project lists
Label, organize, and secure equipment for transport
Check equipment back in after events, verifying quantities and condition
Identify missing, damaged, or malfunctioning gear and report issues promptly
Warehouse Operations
Maintain organized storage areas for audio, video, lighting, cabling, and accessories
Perform basic testing and functionality checks on AV equipment (audio consoles, speakers, projectors, LED panels, cameras, cables, etc.)
Assist with routine cleaning, maintenance, and minor repairs
Ensure warehouse cleanliness, safety, and proper equipment handling
Logistics & Support
Load and unload trucks, vans, and trailers safely and efficiently
Assist with inventory tracking and asset management
Coordinate with project managers, lead technicians, and crew to meet deadlines
Occasionally assist with on-site load-ins, setups, and strikes when needed
Safety & Professional Standards
Follow company safety procedures and proper lifting techniques
Handle equipment carefully to prevent damage
Maintain a professional attitude and strong work ethic
Requirements:
Familiarity with professional AV equipment and accessories
Prior warehouse, production, or live event experience preferred
Ability to lift and carry equipment up to 50 lbs repeatedly
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Reliable transportation and consistent attendance
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime when required
Preferred Qualifications (Not Required):
Forklift or pallet jack experience
Basic understanding of signal flow, cable types, and connectors
Valid driver’s license
Experience with inventory or asset management systems
