Here's a little food for thought: If someone/anyone offers to sell you a "like new or slightly used" knee scooter or manual wheelchair for $80 or less, as a local caller reported, "IT is an unsafe, unsecure piece of junk! The brakes are "sometimey", The steering is off-centered and the wheels have uneven wear and loose bolts". The knee walker seat cusion was as hard as a rock, with no support. The wheelchair I purchased smelled like fresh urine!"
