About the Job
Commercial Pool Management is looking for detail-oriented, self-driven individuals to open, clean and service commercial swimming pools for the 2026 swim season. Multiple openings are available. No previous experience required - will train!
What You Can Expect
This is a seasonal position running through October 15th. Daily attendance at crew meetings is required. Meetings take place at the Roswell office at 6:30 a.m. Monday - Friday and set the plan for the day. Once on the route continue until the assigned route is fully completed - flexibility is important. Technicians receive web-based and on-the-job training, With the potential for a certification as a Pool Service Technician
Seasonal Workflow
Opening Season (March–April)
The season begins with a fast-paced team environment. Technicians work in crews to open pools, complete hands-on and web-based training, deep clean pool decks and patio furniture, prepare pools for health inspections, and begin servicing assigned core pools.
Service Season (May–August)
During peak season, technicians independently manage an assigned weekly service route, typically servicing 5–7 pools per day. The pace is steady and predictable, with a focus on consistent cleaning, water quality, and equipment operation.
Closing Season (September–October)
As the season winds down, technicians balance regular service with pool closures. This includes shutting down systems, installing covers, and winterizing pools in preparation for winter months. October 15th is the last day of the season.
Responsibilities & Duties
Open pools as part of a crew, including removing covers, cleaning pools, handling chemicals, and setting up furniture
Independently manage and service an assigned pool route throughout the summer - Perform routine pool maintenance, including skimming, vacuuming, brushing, and debris removal. Test water chemistry and safely adjust chemical levels following established safety protocols. Backwash and clean filtration systems. Clean and maintain pool equipment, including pumps, filters, and chemical feeders.
Attend daily team meetings to plan work and address real-time issues
Develop working mechanical knowledge of pool systems and equipment
Use basic hand tools and small power tools for maintenance and minor repairs
Maintain accurate records of service visits and work performed
Close pools as part of a crew by storing furniture, installing covers, and winterizing systems.
Requirements:
Must have reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license, and active vehicle insurance. Trucks and SUVs are suggested, but not required.
A working smartphone.
Willingness to undergo a background check, including a driving record check.
Like working outdoors and commitment to work in diverse weather conditions.
Physically fit, capable of repeatedly walking, bending, climbing, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
Ability to work well independently and with others.
Be on time, have good communication, and a positive attitude.
Must be able to provide appropriate I9 verification documents on Day 1 of employment (ex. Driver’s license, SSN, birth certificate, and/or passport).
