Our busy, growing art production studio is looking for new production team members to learn how to produce & assemble enamel artworks.
We like to work with people who are punctual, honest, ethical, able to take constructive criticism, not afraid to be themselves, and most importantly -- people who want to be a part of a TEAM! We are generally easy-going but being on time for work & sticking to the break/lunch schedule. Our management team is dedicated to treating people with respect.
While some previous experience working with enamel is possible, our application and process is something no one else could have taught you. That being the case, you should be a quick learner, detail oriented, have a high attention span while completing repetitive tasks.
While we are an art production studio, and often a very creative environment, this job is NOT creative in and of itself. The focus is on re-creating existing designs to a very, very high standard of quality, with an impeccable level of safety and high efficiency. FOCUS is a must. This is definitely production-oriented, hands-on work.
You will work with your hands (all day). There will be long periods of standing. You will get a little dirty. The studio space is a warehouse environment, so sometimes it gets hot. You should also be capable of lifting 50lbs at a time.
This is a full-time, permanent position only. Please don't apply if you're looking for part-time work, or can only work full-time for a short period of time.
Pay starts at $10/hour. Pay rate increases are considered very early-on. We offer hands-on training from day one, and work diligently with you to increase your skill set & training progression so that raises can happen. We also offer a range of benefits, including health insurance (fully paid by the company), a Health Savings Account, PTO/vacation, and a generous profit-sharing plan, and a MARTA pass (if you intended to take MARTA to work - we are right across the street from the West End MARTA station).
