I’ve been playing this bass in a few recent gigs.
It's AMAZING what quality you can buy now for only a few hundred bucks.
This one retails new for $279.
At $200, it’s a great starter, or backup, bass
I would not hesitate to recommend this to a bassist on a budget.
Some of these Asian-made instruments really are quite good.
It all depends on the parent company’s standards
Dean has always made a good guitar, and has a good reputation for quality.
My son’s first guitar was a Dean EVO-60 - a very nice axe for $300 (new, about 15 years ago).
He says he wishes he hadn’t sold it.

This is a really nice starter bass.
Comfortable neck, reliable, and sturdy (like most Dean instruments)
Good sound (through my Gallien-Krueger amp).
The two pickups and 3 knobs provide a decent variety of tonal possiblities.
It is a good, solid instrument that should take you quite a few years into your bass career.

CONDITION
----------------------------------------
Very good
Neck is straight
Frets in great shape
Electronics work as they should.
1 - It looks like at some point fret numbers were written
on the side of the neck with a sharpie (?). (see the last picture)
I've marked the fret number where you can see the writing.
These markings are visible on the neck at Frets 1-9.
. . . some people . . . .
2 - One ding on the upper bout. (see pictures)
3 - There is a little schmootz (paint?) on the back of the head (see pictures)
