This is a great-sounding 1966 Gibson LG-1, ladder-braced with that classic vintage Gibson character. Slim 1 9/16″ nut width makes it comfortable for smaller hands or players used to electric guitars.
Recent Professional Work (All major work was performed by Evan Collins of Overhaul Guitars a year or two ago):
- Neck reset
- Full refret and fret dressing
- Complete service and setup
- K&K pickup installed
It plays beautifully up and down the neck and is fully gig-ready.
Condition:
Stamped with a “2” on the back of the headstock, indicating a factory 2nd. After close luthier inspection, this is clearly cosmetic—likely a finish blemish—not structural.
No cracks or crack repairs.
Pickguard was replaced at some point; faint outline of the original larger guard is still visible.
