This isn't the standard black piano you see everywhere; it features a rare and gorgeous polished rosewood finish that makes it a true centerpiece in any room. It has been a wonderful instrument in my home and is in excellent condition (no scratches or dings). I am selling because I am planning on moving into Independent Living and will not have space for it.
Kawai pianos are famous for their rich, warm tone, and this one is a perfect example. At 5'10", it's the ideal "parlor grand" size, large enough for a full, resonant sound but still fits comfortably in a home. The action is responsive and feels great to play, and the piano has been well-cared for. A Dampp Chaser humidifier system was also installed when I purchased the piano.
I'd recommend this piano for a serious student, a professional musician, a church, or anyone looking for a world-class instrument that is also a beautiful piece of furniture.
