Spanish Speaking Leasing Consultant (Atlanta)

compensation: $16/hour
employment type: full-time

Job Summary

A Leasing Consultant is our first impression to potential and current residents. A Leasing Consultant will listen and understand the needs of a potential resident and show them that we have what they want. Greeting potential and current residents, taking requests/complaints by phone or in-person, participating in outreach marketing activities, and assist in planning resident functions are some responsibilities of a Leasing Consultant. This position requires a customer service and sales mentality.

*Office Hours: Monday- Friday (8:00 am - 4:30 pm (30 min break).


Essential Functions

Answer questions and show apartments to potential residents to define what they want
Sell the value of community features as they relate to the customer needs to close the sale
Follow-up regularly with potential leads
Create and maintain excellent and ongoing relationships with potential and current residents
Ensure a high level of customer service
Use customer service skills to take requests, complaints, comments, and resolve them quickly
Assist in monitoring renewals and distribute and follow-up on renewal notices
Prepares and assists with all leasing paperwork
Process applications for approvals (credit check, rental history, etc.)
May be required to assist in special projects or activities including due diligence, property acquisition/disposition, serving on or participating in company sponsored or sanctioned committees, organizations, functions, etc.
May be periodically assigned to bookkeeping duties or assist in maintenance areas
Takes accountability for daily leasing operations, and ensures professional and timely responses and resolutions
Attends and participates in our training programs as required
Attendance is an essential job function
Physical Abilities Requirements

Ability to sit for extended periods.
Fine dexterity to operate computer, calculator and other office equipment.
Visual acuity to inspect documents for accuracy.
Ability to hear and speak to exchange information.
Ability to occasionally bend, stoop and reach for supplies, files, etc.
Ability to occasionally lift and carry office items weighing up to 10 pounds.
Ability to attend work on a regular basis
Required experience:
-Leasing Experience Preferred: 2 Year +
-Must be fluent in both English and Spanish

*Must pass a drug test
