Responsibilities
Provide high-quality wellness and beauty treatments such as massage therapy, facials, body waxing, eyelash extensions, dermal fillers, botulinum toxin treatments, dermabrasion, esthetic laser treatments, hair styling, hair extensions, nail care, makeup application, IV therapy and other specialized services.
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the treatment room according to health regulations.
Manage client appointments efficiently using salon or spa management software such as Vagaro or MINDBODY.
Engage with clients through excellent customer service and guest services skills to ensure a positive experience.
Promote your services through social media management and product demos to attract new clients and retain existing ones.
Upsell additional treatments or retail products to enhance client satisfaction and revenue.
Keep detailed records of treatments provided and client preferences for personalized service delivery.
Collaborate with the team on marketing initiatives and community engagement efforts to grow the wellness center’s visibility.
Experience
Proven experience in one or more of the following areas: esthetician services (including dermabrasion, laser treatments), massage therapy (deep tissue massage), cosmetology (hair styling, hair extensions), nail care, makeup application, tattooing, barbering (straight razor), or med spa procedures such as dermal fillers and botulinum toxin treatments.
Strong management skills including familiarity with salon software like Vagaro or MINDBODY is preferred.
Experience in social media management for marketing purposes is a plus.
Excellent customer service and communication skills essential for building client relationships and ensuring guest satisfaction.
Knowledge of sanitation protocols and safety standards within wellness and beauty environments.
