The time has come to sell my 2023 Freespirit Recreation Evolution V2 Short Rooftop tent. I previously owned a V1 Evolution and did multiple trips from Atlanta to Oregon, and back, in all weather conditions, including hot desert summer (Moab/Arches), to high altitude snowy winters (Colorado, Wyoming, Montana, Idaho), and heavy rain storms and wind storms. When I sold the V1, I immediately upgraded to the V2, this model, and absolutely loved it. However, life circumstances have changed and I no longer have the time to get out and truly enjoy this RTT to its fullest. It currently has less than FIVE (5) total nights of use, so it is virtually unused.
This tent gets top marks in all weather conditions. It has a ton of storage, windows on all four sides, ample space for me to sleep comfortably (6'0”, 200lbs.) and I am able to set up and pack down alone in less than two minutes.
DESCRIPTION/DETAILS:
The Evolution V2 Series Rooftop Tent has a new and enhanced look with a textured black top design. Enhanced zippers and buckles along will elevate your camping experience, and I'm not kidding when I say with all the windows closed it is 100% pitch black out conditions, and you'll sleep like a baby, on the included self-inflating Aircore mattress.
The Evolution comes with the premium Freespirit Recreation tri-layer fabric making multi-season camping comfortable. The integrated LED light strip inside gives you light when you need it.
Storage is also awesome, both when in use and when traveling. When in use, you have 2 shoe bags that hold two sets of full size hiking boots so you can keep the inside dirt free; there's also storage baskets that will hold all of your devices and chargers, snacks, water bottles, light devices, PLUS exterior layers like coats and pants. The LED bar is dimmable to give you soft light or bright light. When you're ready to travel, the telescoping ladder stores INSIDE the RTT, folding flat, giving you more storage space inside your vehicle.
