Tamiya 1/700 waterline series IJN (Imperial Japanese Navy) heavy cruiser Mogami new model kit. The Mogami took part in WWII sea battles at Malaya, Indonesia and Midway, where it was heavily damaged by US aircraft. The ship was subsequently repaired and outfitted with reconnaissance aircraft and then took part in the battles of the Philippine Sea and Leyte Gulf, where it was sunk by US aircraft. Pictures of actual ship are included for information. The box is still factory sealed- asking $18. This kit is from Japan and is for experienced builders. Local pickup near Decatur, Georgia.
