We are a rapidly growing robot dog security technology startup with over 50 robotic security units currently deployed in the field. Our work combines robotics, security technology, and real-world operational environments. We are building scalable systems and are looking for team members who want to be part of that growth.
Role Overview:
We are seeking a Product Technician / Manufacturing Associate to support the assembly, maintenance, and improvement of our robotic security units. This is a hands-on, in-office contractor role requiring initiative, accountability, and a willingness to support a fast-moving startup environment.
While prior experience in manufacturing, electronics, or robotics is helpful, it is not required. Training will be provided. Success in this role depends on motivation, attention to detail, and a strong sense of ownership.
Responsibilities:
- Assemble, test, maintain, and repair robotic security units
- Support manufacturing and hardware assembly processes
- Perform quality checks and deployment preparation
- Troubleshoot hardware and basic system issues
- Perform light soldering, wiring, and component replacement as needed
- Assist with upgrades, returned units, and field support
- Document processes, fixes, and improvements
- Collaborate with engineering and operations teams
- Take initiative and manage tasks independently
- Contribute beyond a fixed job description when business needs require it
Candidate Profile:
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Self-driven and comfortable working independently
- Interest in robotics, hardware, or security technology
- Comfortable working hands-on with physical devices and tools
- Adaptable and able to operate in a startup environment
- Team-oriented with a long-term growth mindset
Nice to Have (Not Required):
- Experience with soldering or electronics
- Hardware manufacturing or assembly background
- Basic coding or technical troubleshooting skills
- Exposure to robotics, IoT, or security systems
