I purchased this from Amazon to use as a prop of a film set, but never opened it. This antenna is still new in the package. It has a 3/8-24 threaded base. It is made in the USA by Roadpro and distributed by Francis.
The model number is 300 – CB22B.
The description on the package said it uses an exclusive double helical, continuous load winding. It incorporates the double quarter wave receiving shape. The winding is sealed inside, fiberglass for long life and durability. It has a unique top cap tuning design.
I can literally only tell you what’s written on the package as I do not have a CB and have no intention of ever using it. I originally purchased this to mount on the exterior of a pilot house of a small boat, to be used on a film set. As it turns out, we never saw the top of the set so I never had to open the package.
