Rare 1940's Gilt Brass & Porcelain Boudoir Lamps. Matching pair of mid-century Boudoir lamps, dating approximately to the 1940's. European craftsmanship likely of French or German origin. Key Features: A heavy ornate Gilt Brass Base & column; Delicate hand-painted porcelain roses & pansies at the base & matching porcelain finial at the top; Original pleated silk shades.
Excellent condition for their age. The brass shows a rich, authentic patina. The porcelain flowers are largely intact with no chipping. Wiring is original. This is a "Complete Set."
