This is a pair of wonderful JBL speakers from the Golden Era. These speakers cam out near the end of the run of the L100 Century as an improved model using the same tweeter and midrange but the first of the complex crossovers from JBL that really improved the sound using the same tweeter and midrange but They designed a new 10" woofer that is a bit faster and tighter bass. I recently sent the woofers out to get new surrounds so they are good for another 25 years! The speakers are great mechanically but have a few cosmetic dings and some holes in the grills. A fresh coat of oil on the cabinets would be nice - however, they are still one of the best sounding speakers out there under $2,000!
