This Kenwood Basic C2 Control Amplifier is a nice preamp. When I had it recently serviced they cleaned all the controls. It's been a persistent problem with this model that they get balance control circuit becomes inoperative so they bypass the control for the balance and it is set to be even balanced on both sides. This has been done when it was serviced. Everything else works perfectly. Don't spend extra on shipping and sales tax with eBay when you can see it before you buy it and own it today. Plus no worries about damage from Shipping here either. You can call or text me at the contact number to make arrangements to come and pick it up.
