Hello, I'm Stephen Carrington; I have been playing guitar since 1987, and I am ready to teach you! I teach all ages (from just big enough to hold the guitar, to septuagenarians--and beyond!), all styles (but I specialize in rock, blues, metal, pop, and country), and all levels (I have something to offer every player, from beginner to advanced). I'm also now offering ukulele lessons, at the same rates as guitar lessons (listed below).

For a limited time, I'm offering all new students a special deal if you book a lessons package at your intro lesson: 15% off any package price! What a deal! This offer is only available on the first package a student purchases, and this deal is ONLY available if you purchase your first lessons package at your introductory lesson.

Check out my website https://www.StephensGuitarLessons.com or call (770) 971-6093 (this is my home number, so please: no calls or texts between 10PM and 9AM; thanks for your cooperation with this) to set up a FREE introductory guitar lesson...and parents, please note: my studio, and also my instructional approach, are suitable for young people; middle school and high school are great times for students to learn these skills, so if your child is interested in guitar, give me a call to set up an intro lesson!

My home studio is in East Cobb/Marietta, very convenient to Lower Roswell Road, Roswell Road/120, Marietta Parkway (Loop 120), Powers Ferry Road, Johnson Ferry Road, I-75, Cobb Parkway (Highway 41) and other main roads. I offer lessons from 3:30-9:30pm Monday through Thursday, from 3:30-8:30pm on Fridays, and from 12:00-5:30pm on Saturdays. Please see my website StephensGuitarLessons.com for important lesson-related details.

I give every student a personalized, one-on-one lesson, focusing on what they need to do to achieve whatever musical goals they have for themselves. I don't schedule lessons back-to-back, but always with at least a 15 minute "buffer" period between lessons; that way I can properly finish any lesson, even if the student is having an epiphany right when the scheduled lesson time is up, and still be able to properly prepare for the next lesson. I concentrate on each student and their individual progress, not on getting one student out the door so I can get the next one in. And I offer all new students a FREE introductory lesson, so you can see for yourself before making a long-term commitment.

Packages of 6 or 8 lessons get one allowed "missed" lesson before I start deducting them from your package; packages of 10 lessons get one allowed "missed" lesson during the first 5 lessons, and a second one during the remaining 5 lessons; and packages of 12 lessons get one allowed "missed" lesson during each third of the package (so three in total). Allowed "missed" lessons expire at the end of each package; they do not carry over from one package to the next. A lesson is considered "missed" if it's a regularly scheduled lesson that you are not able to attend, and we are not able to reschedule it for another day that same week.
