We are seeking reliable part-time help in our shop. If you enjoy building things, solving hands-on problems, and take pride in workmanship, you will likely enjoy this role. What You’ll Do
- Building, assembling, and packing fireplace doors and paint kits
- Using hand and power tools (miter saw, drill, etc.)
- Measuring accurately (within 1/16” tolerances)
- Managing inventory and basic shop organization
- Preparing shipments (FedEx, UPS, etc.)
- Light computer work (shipping software, spreadsheets, email)
We’re looking for someone who:
- Enjoys hands-on work and building things
- Can measure accurately and do basic math/fractions
- Is comfortable using tools safely
- Can work independently without constant supervision
- Has dependable transportation and a positive attitude
- Can lift up to 50 lbs and be on their feet for periods of time
- Is comfortable with basic computer tasks (spreadsheets, shipping labels, etc.)
- Values reliability, punctuality, and responsibility
Schedule & Compensation
- Part-Time: ~32 hours per week (flexible schedule)
- Hours: Typically M–Th between 7am–3pm (no nights/weekends)
- Compensation: Starting at $17.50/hour, increasing to $18–$22/hour after training
- Bonuses + PTO
- Flexibility: Time off as needed — this is not a rigid corporate environment
- We strongly prefer candidates who live within 10 miles of East Cobb / Roswell.
Preferred background includes:
- Prior shop, manufacturing, DIY, fabrication, woodworking, maintenance, or machine-shop experience
- Military experience a plus
- Older workers and retirees are encouraged to apply
