Customize your connections
The versatility of the micro.clock Gen4 doesn’t end with its multiple connections or simultaneous use with distinct devices, thanks to internal DIP switches that let you customize each output. Both of the TRS-MIDI connections can individually operate in Type A or Type B configurations, while the USB-C port accommodates bidirectional MIDI communication, including MIDI PC commands to external MIDI devices. Moreover, Disaster Audio Designs’ 1/4-inch MultiJack connection supports multifunctional, user-adjustable operation as a tap tempo input, a third MIDI connection (required adapter cables not included), and even a CV (control voltage) output — the last of which transmitting from 0–3.3V values to work with any oddball tempo-control configurations your pedals or effects might possess.
