Early 90's Mesa Boogie Mark IV 85 watt combo & head shell in excellent condition. Serial number IV38** (built 11/91). EVM12L Speaker. Approximately 20 hours on Mesa tubes. Completely functional. Can be operated as low as 35 watts (aprox) via simulclass and pentode/triode switching. I built a head shell for it due to the fact that many folks do not want to move an 80lb amp around. It's not perfect as it's my first experience doing this but it's quite nice and completely practical. I built it a little taller and wider to make installing the chassis a 5 minute breeze. I've installed a fan and reverb tank so installing the chassis is all that is required for the swap. It weighs 38lbs. Most likely interested parties know what this is as well as what it can do but just in case..Mel Tillis to Metallica. Seeing what head shells for these are selling for this is a good investment on an iconic amp that can be used while preserving the original piece of gear. It wouldn't hurt my feelings a bit to keep this so having said that I will not respond to trade or ridiculous offers. Thanks for looking. If you are reading this it's available.
