Vintage (early 80's) Slingerland 'Spirit' series drum kit. Black 3 ply (maple/poplar/maple) shells with black granitone interiors. 22" bass/kick, 12" and 13" toms (standard depths, not power toms). Black & silver oval 'Niles' badges. Last of the American made Slingerlands. Comes with the original tom holders. All new Evans G1 heads. A bit of rust on kick hoop where pedal was attached.
The Spirit line offered an economical way for someone to build a kit one or more drums at a time. I've included a couple of pics from the official 1980 catalog(From the site vintagedrumguide). All fairly reasonable offers considered. Dealers and flippers welcome to make an offer on multiple items.
I prefer to sell, but might consider a trade for a vintage MIJ guitar or bass, or maybe a decent B20 crash cymbal or two.
