Marietta Audio Mastering brings the professionalism of Atlanta out to the 'burbs.
I'm Stephen Carrington, and I have been involved in music production--including audio recording, mixing, and mastering--in the metro Atlanta area since the late 1980s. I've been teaching guitar for years, as well as operating a private recording studio since the mid-90's.
Music mastering from Marietta Audio Mastering is available for a flat rate of $45 per song (individual songs are limited to 6 minutes; contact me for pricing on longer songs), or $400 per album (14 song/60 minute maximum; contact me for pricing on more songs or longer album times).
And I offer a free sample to all new customers, so you can see if my work is acceptable to you before you commit any money. Just send me your mixed audio file (preferrably in uncompressed .wav format, in whatever bit depth and resolution it was recorded in) and I'll master the song for free, then send you a 1-2 minute sample of the mastered audio. Once you determine that you want to proceed with my work, you can pay the cost for your project and I'll either send over the complete song or finish the project (if necessary) and then send it over.
I'm also now offering an EP rate, which is $240 per EP (a mastering order qualifies for EP pricing if there are 7 songs or less in the mastering order, and with the total run time of all songs at 30 minutes or less). Mastered tracks (as well as EPs and full albums) will be emailed to you in .wav format; add $25 to have a Red Book audio master CD (or a data disc with the DDP files; or add $40 for both) mailed to you for duplication (add an additional $35 for RUSH delivery of the master disc via FedEx 2nd Day Air), and I will also include a standard-quality disc with CD Audio tracks. Contact me regarding any other file formats, I can probably accommodate your needs.
Flat-rate mastering is for unattended sessions; I don't offer attended sessions.
Revisions are no charge if it is within 10 days of you receiving the materials (no matter the reason for the revision); after that it is at the normal studio rate of $65 per hour (half-hour minimum). Alternate mixes (vocal-up, vocal-down, instrumental, a capella, etc.) are no extra charge when requested at the initial session; they are $5 per additional mix anytime after that. No charge for sending DDP files or other materials to a duplicator or replicator.
Two years of back-up storage in my archive library (including materials) is included with any paid session unless otherwise noted.
I can also mix your music, for a very reasonable cost--please contact me and we can discuss the details.
More about me. . .
I teach guitar a few weekday evenings each week, and during the day on weekdays I used to work at Doppler Studios in Midtown Atlanta (that's me in the old Studio E at Doppler on the main page of the Marietta Audio Mastering site at www.MariettaAudioMastering.com, and in the studio picture in this ad), before they closed for good in June of 2016.
While I was at Doppler, in addition to engineering whenever I was able to, I did scheduling and some other odd jobs; at Marietta Audio Mastering, I am the principle engineer, as well as the assistant engineer. I also maintain the website, and I'll be the one you'll deal with from start to finish. In fact, I'm the only one here...the guy answering your calls and emails is the same person engineering every step of your project, and I take pride in being able to give every client the specialized attention that their project requires.
I'm an expert at mastering audio for release on radio/online, as well as for physical release (not only for CD and vinyl, but also for tape-based formats [cassettes]). I can also help you get your music pressed on many different formats and released out onto an unsuspecting public, as well as help you get it ready for mastering and release in the first place. I'm here to help you succeed, and I can help you at any point along the way...just give me a call or send me an email and we'll discuss the details.
And by the way: my mastering studio is not, in fact, located at the bottom of a lake. I am located in the 30068 ZIP code here in Marietta. Check out http://www.MariettaAudioMastering.com for more details.
